The Golf Club Matterhorn is located in the valley between Randa and Täsch at 1400 m, and is very close to the international resort of Zermatt.

The golf course is situated on two varying terrains on both sides of the Vispa river. The course is practical and level, which allows for easy walking. The original marsh area has been transformed into a lake, allowing for the creation of a beautiful island-green.

The Scottish golf architect, John Chilver-Stainer, built the golf course on 21 hectares and carried out his plans of harmony with nature. The course will open during the summer 2006.
